Here's a gift that doesn't need a lot of packaging. A membership to the Society of Friends.
The price is DKK 250 for pensioners, DKK 300 for those aged 30-64. For the very young - those under 30 - it must be a bonus gift. They don't have to pay to join.
We are fully aware that the opportunity to attend rehearsals is our most favourable offer. Also that these rehearsals take place during the daytime. But even if you can't make it, there are a number of offers to take advantage of - in addition to supporting DR's choirs and orchestras.
As members of the Friends' Association, you get: Spontaneous offers with 50 DKK tickets to selected concerts with DR's choirs and orchestras, where you can also invite friends who are not members of the association, 3 annual Brunch concerts on Sundays at 1 pm, where the performers are musicians and singers from DR's choirs and orchestras, and of course access to the Friends' Association's beautiful website which is only for members.
To give a membership as a gift, follow the instructions below:
- Log out
- Tap on “Become a member”
- Enter your friend's details - with one exception: for “email address”, enter your own email address.
- Press “Create account”
- Click “Go to payment” and pay with Dankort.
- You will now receive a confirmation of your enrolment via email.
- To present the gift, forward the aforementioned email to your friend.
- At the same time, you need to inform your friend which password you have chosen.
- Your friend will now be able to log in and enter their own email address under “My account” and you don't need to do anything else.
