Jakob Weber<\/p>\n

Born on St Hans Eve in 1977 in Avesta (Sweden).<\/p>\n

I play percussion.<\/p>\n

I started piano when I was in 2nd grade and then percussion in 4th grade at Copenhagen Music School.<\/p>\n

I joined the DRSO in 2015, after having been an assistant for almost 20 years. Before that, I was employed by Odense Symphony Orchestra. 
\nIn addition to DR, I play in lots of small projects, everything from chamber music, solo, theatre, bands, DKDM, orchestras, defence, etc. etc. etc. etc. .....
\nI like all good music.
\nThe hardest thing I've ever played? Everything, because the hard part is finding the lightness.<\/p>\n

Daniel \u00c5berg is my name and I was born in 1976, I sing bass in DRVokalEnsemblet<\/p>\n

I started singing in a boy's choir when I was eight years old and since then I've sung in many amateur choirs in Uppsala, where I come from. After that I sang in the Swedish Radio Choir, the Eric Ericson Chamber Choir and other professional ensembles around Stockholm before I got the position at DRVE.<\/p>\n

I started in January 2007 when DRVE was founded.<\/p>\n

I sing solo in various places, the biggest coincidence was when the Pope visited Lund in 2016.<\/p>\n

My absolute favourites are St. Mary's Passion by Claudio Monteverdi and, as an a cappella work, Frank Martin's Mass for double choir. It's simply marvellous music!<\/p>\n

The most difficult I've sung is probably the oratorio Das Buch mit sieben Siegeln by Franz Schmidt, which DRSO, DRKK and DRVE performed in December 2017. Many voices at once (to disturb each other), long phrases, fast tempo, chromatic turns and a lot of text at once. But the result was mighty!<\/p>\n
