{"id":336,"date":"2017-10-12T16:45:07","date_gmt":"2017-10-12T14:45:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/drvenneforeningen.dk.linux182.unoeuro-server.com\/2017\/10\/12\/cykelhornist-fik-venneforeningens-pris\/"},"modified":"2024-11-23T00:21:18","modified_gmt":"2024-11-22T23:21:18","slug":"cykelhornist-fik-venneforeningens-pris","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/drvenneforeningen.dk\/en\/cykelhornist-fik-venneforeningens-pris\/","title":{"rendered":"Bicycle horn player received the Friends' Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This year's recipient of the Friends' Scholarship is a result of the visionary people of the past.<br \/>\nYou know, back when everything didn't have to be measured and weighed and had short time frames like 4 years, but when you had time to dream and say phrases like \u201cwhat if\u201d<br \/>\nThe recipient was watered and blossomed in Lyngby-Taarb\u00e6k municipality, where visionary people with a love of music had created orchestras, where music was instilled in the blood of young people of the same age.<br \/>\nFrom Lyngby, the trip went to the Royal Danish Academy of Music and from there on to the Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and finally ended here at the DR Symphony Orchestra.<br \/>\nFor 36 years he has enriched us with his wonderful musicianship as a soloist in the horn section.<br \/>\nIn addition to his work in the orchestra, he has been a diligent chamber musician in the Diamond Ensemble and Royal Danish Brass, among others.<br \/>\nIn the latter, they have a concept called \u201cBrass on Wheels\u201d where he has been able to combine his other passion of exercise (running and cycling) with a concert tour where the musicians cycle from concert venue to concert venue in Denmark.<br \/>\nThe recipient always has their group's best interests at heart and is a huge support, especially for the new members of the horn section of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The recipients of this year's scholarship are&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Solo horn player Henning Hansen&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-338\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/drvenneforeningen.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/henning-hansen1-m-horn.jpg\" style=\"height:260px; width:260px\" width=\"260\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/drvenneforeningen.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/henning-hansen1-m-horn.jpg 260w, https:\/\/drvenneforeningen.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/henning-hansen1-m-horn-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 260px) 100vw, 260px\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>After receiving the grant, Hennin played a small concert with a horn quartet. The horn quartet consisted of colleagues from DRSO's horn section Lasse Mauritzen, Dominika Piwkowska, Jakob Arnholz and Henning Hansen.<\/p>\n<p>They played: A. Bruckner: Andante for 4 horns.<\/p>\n<p>Fuzzy: From \u201cSeven postcards from Ebeltoft and surroundings\u201d, no. 1 \u201cMorgenstemning i Mols Bjerge\u201d for solo horn.<\/p>\n<p>Lowell E.
