We are now well into the time of year when we are renewing your membership of the Friends
This usually coincides with us being able to announce which rehearsals are open to the public in the coming season.
A lot looks different this year. We currently know that 500 seats will be available in the Concert Hall until 31 August, but we don't know how many people will be allowed to sit in the hall after that. Nor do we know the repertoire yet. All of this is something that we - and ultimately DR - have no influence on.
As stated in our statutes, the purpose of the association is to support DR's choirs and orchestras. That purpose has not disappeared with the Corona. On the contrary, it has perhaps become even more important to show the musicians and singers that we miss them. We know that they also miss us, the audience.
We would therefore ask you - despite all the uncertainty - to renew your membership now. So we have money in the coffers for our purpose and to organise a great general meeting with artistic elements as in previous years. And to maintain our administration so that we are fully prepared to serve you, and so that you have your membership card in order when we hopefully soon return to normal conditions, also when it comes to live music in DR-Byen.

The Friends will be on summer holiday from 6 July to 3 August and will not answer emails and phone calls during this period.
